For the first time ever, American Airlines is launching service between Brisbane (BNE) and Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) on Oct. 27.

As travel to North America from Asia Pacific continues to grow in demand, the introduction of American’s second route to Australia ensures even greater adventure opportunities for those travelling from Down Under. DFW serves as an important gateway to explore other parts of the United States, Canada, Europe and Latin America.

When American’s seasonal service begins, it will be the longest nonstop flight in the airline’s network.

The joint business between American and Qantas continues to offer customers one of the most comprehensive networks connecting North America and Australia and New Zealand. Next winter, the partnership will offer services from Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), New York (JFK) and Vancouver, Canada (YVR), to three major gateways in Australia: Brisbane (BNE), Melbourne (MEL), Sydney (SYD) and Auckland, New Zealand (AKL). As part of the American–Qantas partnership, customers will be able to connect to more than 200 destinations across the U.S., and nearly 70 destinations across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific — more than any other partnership.
