Although the cruise industry recently launched a campaign to convince the government to allow domestic trips, it seems cruises are still too high-risk to resume at this stage.
On the 8th December Australia’s Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly and Health Minister Greg Hunt made the announcement that there will be a further ban on cruise ships operating around Australia until 17 March 2021, with an international ban until at least 30 March 2021.
However, we know there are many cruise buffs out there, like us, who feel more at home on a ship than the shore and can’t wait for the cruise industry to be back in full swing. We hope the below updates from our favourite cruiselines brings you reassurance that the cruise industry is ready to go and bookings are open!
