    Gerry Timcke joins the exclusive diamond club

    Original diamond club founder Stan Klinakis has welcomed yet another member Gerry Timcke for 10 dedicated years of service.

    Originally born in Ireland and working for Galileo in London, Gerry and her husband Mark made the big move to Australia in 1993. Fast forward to 2010, Instagram launched, Ke$ha’s – TiK ToK was number one and Gerry Timcke discovered one of Queensland’s first travel management companies in West End.

    You will find Gerry at the heart of Pulse Travel busy behind the scenes, keeping everything moving with administration, finance and all the things in-between. For those that know Gerry, when asked what makes working with her so great? Topping the list is her pocket rocket personality! To Emmalita Malmberg her offsider – ‘she is the Yin and Gerry is Yang and could not imagine working with anyone else’.

    Gerry was quoted saying ‘The last 10 years working for Pulse Travel has been an absolute pleasure, and although recently we have been through some testing times, we have survived and grown stronger and we are all looking forward to the future. Thank you Stan and Anthea for everything, I really appreciate it’

    In 1989 at the company’s inception, Stan founded the ‘Diamond Club’, designed to show his appreciation to staff by gifting them a one carat diamond for every 10 years of service. To date, they have had eight team members on one carat, three team members on two carats, and one lucky team member has actually received three diamonds. That’s a total of 12 carats over 31 years – and some of the original team are still with Pulse Travel to this day.
