  • OMG! A Huge Italian Foodie Laneway Is Popping Up In West End For Winter!

In case you have zero clue about the happenings in and around Brisbane (with you lot, it’s unlikely) West End is in the midst of a revival. A big one.

In breaking news hot out the interwebs this morning, Brisbane is getting yet another laneway for us to while away the balmy nights; enter, Laneway WV in the heart of West End’s West Village, Boundary St.

In even better news, Laneway WV will be transformed into an Italian food Mecca for the winter season, featuring pop-ups from Salt Meats Cheese and Gelato Messina—molto bene!

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner (until late Brisbane, look at us getting all grown up!), Laneway WV will be transformed into a fairy-lit, Roman-style alfresco space serving up classic Italian-style fare courtesy of SMC—including their famous vegan pizzas, for all you plant-based players out there, gorgonzola gnocchi and crispy porchetta when the sun sets.

Gelato Messina will stay open after dark serving up their iconic hot chocolate, the Bombe Choc (don’t ask. Just do) alongside a selection of their famed mini gelato cakes. Because fancy.

Okay, so us QLDers don’t love the winter months, but with pizza, pasta and toasted marshmallow hot chocs all conveniently located in the one spot, it’s safe to say we’re all going to be tempted off the couch.
