A INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL BAN IS IN PLACE FOR ALL AUSTRALIANS EFFECTIVE 25 MARCH 2020

Things domestically however are looking up with the Prime Minister helping prepare Australians to go back to work in a COVID-19 safe environment and get the economy back to a more sustainable level.

The easing of restrictions within states is now underway with more opportunity to start local travel. A decision to reopen boarders for international travel still remains unknown.

CAN I  START PLANNING MY HOLIDAY?

As restrictions are now easing Australia wide, opportunity to start exploring again is on the horizon. Pulse Travel has great deals available with leading suppliers so talk to us today about your ideas for 2020 and 2021. Have the peace of mind and book with confidence – our experienced staff will answer all your questions and provide you with the most up to date information.

WHERE CAN I FLY TO?

There are flights available on a variety of carriers with bargain offers from Jetstar and Qantas to stimulate the travel industry. Further travel within Australia is dependent on each individual state and territory borders reopening over the coming months. Pulse Travel suggests checking individual state websites as above before planning travel. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL?

Things happen! Talk to Pulse Travel first about what your options are as most suppliers offer flexible options if you need to cancel. Normal cancellation fees do however still apply on some airlines, cruises and tours etc. We will work with you regardless for the best outcome. 

HAVE AIRPORT AND BOARDING PROCESSES CHANGED?

Social distancing and good hand hygiene is required in all areas of the airport and lounges however on the plane (airlines such as Qantas and Virgin), high quality air filters are installed to combat potential bugs. 

DO I NEED A MASK TO TRAVEL?

While not compulsory at this stage, aboard Qantas flights, masks are optional but are available on demand. If you do have one however, we suggest you use it to be on the safe side. 

SHOULD I RENEW MY PASSPORT?

We suggest to always make sure your passport is current. If you plan to travel to New Zealand and the Pacific when permitted, you will still need a valid passport with more than 6 months validity. 

CAN I STILL VISIT PULSE TRAVEL?

Yes, however it has been necessary for Pulse Travel to adhere to government advice and implement new policies and procedures to protect both staff and clients. Feel free to call us on 07 3004 6666 to book in an appointment with one of our Travel Managers. When you visit our office at South Brisbane you will find:

  • Hand sanitiser on arrival
  • Social distancing measures including floor markings of 1.5m 
  • Payments of bank transfer or credit card preferred
  • Strict Hygiene and cleaning procedures in place
  • COVID SAFE education material
