JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Strategic Sales Executive to drive the growth of our corporate business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, a strong network within the industry, and a proven track record of generating new business. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify new market opportunities, build strong relationships, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to achieve company growth targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities primarily in the corporate travel market.
- Identify trends and opportunities within the travel industry.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales and promotional materials.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent the company and generate leads.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and partners.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and new travel products and services.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
- Strong network of contacts within the travel and tourism industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to work in the office, attend industry events and travel as needed.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within the travel industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
