So you’ve heard about the halving of flights by the Federal Government but not sure how to go about getting your hands on them? Here’s everything you need to know.
· Flights are on sale 1 April to 31 July 2021
· Travel period is from mid April to 30 September 2021 · 13 destinations across the country will be included in the scheme including Cairns, Proserpine, Launceston, Alice Springs, Hamilton Island, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Kangaroo Island, Broome.
· The discount only applies for interstate flights, not intra-state flights.
· Qantas, Virgin and Jetstar are all onboard to sell half-price tickets, but with a capped number of seats.
